It's been forever and a half

It's taken me a while to update, mainly because I got sick and that lead to a rough couple of weeks...



also I've been super busy with work and stuff and YES I KNOW =P no excuse but meh hehehe
anyway! TRUE BLOOD! these last couple of weeks I've watched the episodes with a feeling between "omg" and "wtf". I love it... and yes it's a huge departure from the books... I mean by now, if you consider the books, Bill should be a turd and Sookie should be with Eric... gosh we love Eric *hearts* but on TV Eric is some kind of a turd and Sookie kind of still loves Bill... so... yeah...

The side-story with Jessica is getting better and better, as G suggested in the comments of the previous entry... though I have to admit I nearly flipped when they started calling Hoyt "Bubba"... I mean C'MON!!!! There's gotta be a bigger gap between Hoyt and Elvis if you ask me xD

I like Russel more in the TV show... he was a "blah" character in the books... though Sophie Ann... That character has SO much more depth in the books.

Now the good stuff... I still have to watch yesterday's episode so the last one I watched was the one in which Russell ripps off that guy's spine on TV. I have to say this... I LOVE the dark humor they use on this season.

I can also see how they are about to bring in the witches and the faeries... I hope *crosses fingers* they don't do it in a lame way. They jumped over many many books to get to this point... the previous two seasons were done one book at a time. Now this season jumped about... what? 6 books? gosh maybe more xD so... woooooow! But in my opinion that's a good thing because, let's be realistic, there is only a number of seasons True Blood will be on TV and if they went through the books at a rate of 1-book/1-season the story on Tv was going to end much earlier than the books. So this will be a good thing! by now with this they basically reach some of the latest books by Harris, so the next book will probably come out toghether with the next season =D *big smile*

Msn and pocket Weirdness

So... last week I saw KickAss... awesome movie made of awesome sauce

at first I thought she was just being weird, lets face it, we're on the crazy side of weird :P and I have to admit I looked for the sign in the sky. Then I saw the movie and the quote was there, along with some other great ones that went right into my awesomeness sauce quotes folder, to be stored and saved for when the aliens invade the Earth.

After that I kind of started paying more attention to msn conversations (for no reason at all, I guess, same way I do pretty much everything)... specially with my sister, and I noticed those are almost never actual conversations. Here's an example:



in case you guys didn't catch it, it's a Lady Gaga song. I find that one particularly funny... it's like she just randomly spits spanish names at you just because they sound cool with her accent lol

Now my sister and I randomly yell "Alejandrooooooooo" at each other whenever one falls silent. And no, it's not awkward at all >:F

In other news... I got the netbook I wanted so bad!!!!! of course I never mentioned it, so you'll have to take my word for it when I say I wanted it so badly but yeah... I... did :P



Mr J. THE Awesome got it for me as graduation gift and it made me extremely jump-up-and-down happy. I am still fighting my instincts in order not to put stickers all over the cover. But gosh I found such cute japanese stickers... like.... clouds with little eyes... suns with little eyes... snowmen with little eyes... rainbows with little eyes...

Caprica Review

so.... this series was so effing amazing I watched the entire season in 2 days u.u

True Blood! New Season!

yeah yeah, I know I spelled Russell's last name wrong, whatever.
I am loving the new season... the effects... not so much. The storyline, I love it. Lots of Eric *hearts*
Episode one... I had to watch it about 3 times before I even liked it, the second it ended I called my sister, furious, hissing it was shameful they made us wait a year for those crappy effects. Ok so, the effects are crappy, but the season is OK so far.
The weres... I don't hate them. But... "Cooter"? really? couldn't they name him Scotty? or Peter?

Cooter?

XD *dies*

... Geebus

Let's wait for the episdes to come and see if the effects get better. If they don't, meh, I can put up with them, if they do, even better.

Fathers, Flowers and Freaked our Little Dogs

hey! it's been a while since my last post!
I graduate from college in a... ina week from now? roughly :) I am so crazyhappy arrrggghghghghgh!! but I'm also kind of lacking enough time to do proper posts.

SO! Sunday was father's day. I travelled to the province (on a bus - UGH! - long trip!!) listening to (again!) Living Dead in Dallas, with Javi. Almost 3 hours, but I was concentrated on the audiobook, so it went by fast.
By the time I got there I stole Flor's camera... here are the cutest pics I could take

Vampires & Vomit! YAAYYYYYYY

SO! today starts season 3 of True Blood!!! *throws random stuff out the window* I'm so happy! how long has it been? gosh it's been a while. I sustained myself through the holidays watching the vampire diaries, re reading the books, writing some fic with G (pretty funny, we will publish some of it soon)................. and now it's finally here!! I'll publish some comments on it tomorrow, I hope it doesn't disappoint, though I kind of think it will be hard not to disappoint when they have made us wait for so long, but they get the benefit of the doubt and my unconditional love rofl

This is a cartoony verson of G I made yesterday, I made it on command after her "make me one for my msn avatar!! >:O!!". Somehow the thought of her being trusted with the health of actual human beings is not scary at all xD she will be an awesome doctor.
Talking about doctors, my new meds make me vomit! it's so gross. They are suppossed to prevent migraines, but they leave my stomach in a whirlwind 24/7

No more migraines, so it's definitely a win, just no more breakfast/lunch/dinner either lol I can eat rice tho, I don't seem to vomit that, and I don't vomit coffee for some reason. So I get to go to Starbucks a lot still... and eat rice ¬¬ rofl as my testing goes, I can also eat as much as half a Starbucks muffin without feeling sick yayyy! <3

SO! today my mom and my sister came here for lunch. They were going to be in the city around midday and they did not want to miss the first Argentina match at the 2010 World Cup.
I had been preparing myself for weeks now................. watching that adorable Jamie Oliver on TV, preparing myself to cook for my allmighty mother. I watched him enough to notice he uses the word "courgette" quite a lot and to see how absolutely adorable he is.
Now... when I tried to cook...... things went wrong... and there was adorable Jamie in my head, telling me I blow, and not in a nice way >:F

The food was edible enough to serve in the end and lunch went about as nicely as possible. Also... we won the match!!!! my cats were running around the appartment because my sister and mom were screaming. Here are some of my best pics... please DO note again the crappy cellphone camera quality:
